Veronica graduated from King’s College London in 2002 and has over 20 years of experience across both public and private healthcare sectors. She spent 8 years specialising in neuro‑rehabilitation, working in London, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, including roles at the Regional Acquired Brain Injury Unit and the Regional Spinal Cord Injury Unit in Musgrave Park Hospital.
Building on this foundation, Veronica later specialised in sports injuries and musculoskeletal care, leading to the creation of My Therapy in 2014. In 2015, she collaborated with Mountaineering Ireland to pioneer an injury‑prevention program for the Irish Climbing Team.
At the core of her physiotherapy practice, Veronica values exercise as the cornerstone of recovery and long‑term health. She believes that empowering clients through movement not only aids rehabilitation but also builds resilience, confidence, and independence.
Veronica is also an APPI‑certified Pilates instructor, using Pilates not only to manage back pain but also as a conditioning tool for athletes across sports. Committed to lifelong learning, she has completed postgraduate training in Acupuncture, the McKenzie Method, and Bobath, continually expanding her therapeutic toolkit.
Her sporting background is extensive: she played hockey at Scottish Senior Ladies Division 1 level, represented Ulster in the U16 badminton development squad, and later discovered rock climbing in her late twenties. She has been climbing for over a decade and won the Irish Climbing Championship in 2010. This breadth of experience gives her a unique, empirical understanding of injury mechanisms and athlete needs.
Veronica’s passion for climbing remains central to her life. She continues to train avidly toward personal climbing goals, bringing the same dedication and resilience she encourages in her clients.
Rob brings a wealth of expertise to My Therapy, with over 30 years of experience in training and climbing. He is a sports massage practitioner, a qualified personal trainer, and an elite climbing coach specialising in movement analysis and strength and conditioning.
A highly accomplished rock climber, Rob has won multiple Irish Climbing Championships, competed on the World Cup circuit, and played a leading role in the development of bouldering in Ireland. His passion for sport has also extended to coaching, where he served as Head Coach of the Irish Youth Climbing Team for 6 years until 2024.
Rob’s experience spans diverse environments, from managing sports injuries in clinic to preparing athletes for major competitions, including supporting the All Blacks during the Rugby World Cup in 2017.
He fuses clinical skills with advanced fitness knowledge to deliver effective, individualised sessions and training programs. His unique understanding of how the body works, combined with his ability to connect closely with clients, makes him a trusted figure within Ireland’s climbing community.
With his specialisation in strength and conditioning, Rob provides a complete package, from performance analysis and sport‑specific coaching to rehabilitation of sports injuries. His success and dedication have made him a sought‑after coach and practitioner for athletes aiming to reach their full potential.
